Everything wrote made a lot of sense. But, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I am not saying your content isn't good., however what if you added a post title to maybe get a person's attention? I mean "Rudolf The Mambo Reindeer - Vera Kuiper" is a little vanilla.
You should peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create article headlines to get people to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about what you've got to say. In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little livelier.
